Facebook atbp.

The way we communicate and get information has changed forever since Facebook, Twitter, My Space, You Tube, among others, begun to emerge and considered part of social networking skills. Many of my "friends" use one or more of these technology and I do understand the appeal and excitement of these methods of communication.

But please! Don't nag me to death to join any of these services especially Facebook so you can write things on my "wall".

Honey my dear, I already have walls, in fact I have many with some hanging pictures and expensive paitings already. Honestly, if you dare write on my walls, I swear to beat your head up with my keyboard.

I understand that if I join Twitter, many of my so-called friends will know what I'm doing and that's really not a good thing.

If I really wanted anyone to know what I was thinking and doing, I'd be talking, not sending those "tweets" to the whole world...

...for crying out loud!

I understand of I joined My Space (has anyone over 13 been using it at all), I can have my own virtual space and reconnect with old friends.

Look dude! If I have known you for a long time and still friends with you, then you are an old friend I love to hang out with. Now, if I used to be friends with you and have not talked with you in many years, there's probably a good reason why we don't speak anymore. Sorry about your sister...hehehe

Anyway, call me particular co'z you won't find me in any of these mass communication devices because I prefer my "friends" to be those I have actually met before and keep in regular contact and have a beer with or two...or even slept with. ;-)

I understand the many appeals of this social networking technologies, catching up with old friends, keeping in-touch, share pictures with families, letting them know what you had for dinner whatever, lying about their age...ooops! well, you know who you are hehehe...

Really! I get the appeals but it just that they are not for me. You may have captured many of my friends but you will never claim me. I do like YouTube however....very cool!

Seriously, I wish you all the best. Say tweet to my "friends" but please don't sit on my space and once again I warned you, stay away from my walls!

Life is a Beach

One thing I've done many times in the past when things aren't going the way I planned and suddenly I'm looking for some sort of inspiration to re-energize myself, I go to the beach.

Dom & family embarked on a weeklong road trip from the midwest state of Missouri to where stars shine in Hollywood. As their official paparazzi, I stalked them everywhere they went....

Dinner at home with Ogie, Amy, Dom, & yours truly...unfortunately, Este couldn't make it!
