Fund Drive for SDA Future Site

The life of St. Paul, on his 2000 year birth anniversary, will be shown on stage this coming January 30th, 2009, 7:00PM @ SDA compound.

This stage play signals the start of the fund drive spearheaded by Sr. Wilma to help them in their humongous task to solicit funds for a new SDA school building being planned to construct in a new site, somewhere in Pulilan.

According to Sr. Wilma, SDA is and has been under contract with the Diocese of Malolos in the use of the lot where the current school buildings stand. It is the hope of SDA administration that their fund drive effort helps build the new buildings in the new site so that they can all transfer soon.

I don't have the foggiest idea where the new site will be nor do I have any clue what the time frame is for the transfer to happen. One thing i'm certain though is that your help and support is very much needed and appreciated.

Sr. Wilma is inviting all of you to watch the play at a minimal fee of php 150.00 per ticket.

thanks for the info anonymous. i'm surprised they plannned/proposed to change the name. That's too bad if it happens. SDA is an institution in Pulilan. The website does not tell us anything about the project location. Saan kaya?

Location: OLIMPIA SUBDIVISION
Poblacion, Pulilan

much too far for the students. inconvinient para sa kanila ang maglakad ng malayo from the jeepney stops, specially kung rainy season. 'di katulad natin noong kapanahunan natin na walang ulan-ulan at bagyo. iba na ang mga kabataan ngayon at siguro iba na rin ang panahon, medyo delikado na.siguro kung may service vehicles ang sda in the near future marami pa rin ang mag-aaral. iyon ay ayon sa assesment lang naming mga nakakita na sa lugar na paglilipatankung saka-sakali.

doesn't seem an ideal location to put up a school campus. knowing where that subdivision is at, accessibility could really be an issue. but heck, what do i know! I have not seen the master plan if there's one drawn out already. i'm sure there's a feasibilty study out there about this project.

thanks batch '83 for the info.

musta na mga ka-batch?
you're right mario..what about "CONDEMNED!" by no other than the forever "kano" ng batch..some dialogue to reckon with "to have a mother, how beautiful and consoling it must be, yes how wonderful it must be!" the mother of "kano" was played by no other than the ever charming, nena duenas. ahh..nasaan na kaya si "mother".
150 is 150. sayang, makaka-relate sana tayo..
speaking of the planned school, balita ko ay papalitan daw un ng pangalan and to renamed sienna school of pulilan. personally, i don't aggree with that move, they should retain the same name.

regards mga klasmeyts,

RENE S.A.

with much due respect to everyone concern, just asking , whose role is the resposibility in regards with the major infrastracture of a school whose name will ba change into sienna ,then why do st.james academy of plaridel reatains their traditional name , both of which are dominicans school under the same mother school , sienna college , alumni association can only do as much , but it must remain an independent group ,under their own formulated by laws , unlike the parent-teachers assc. w/c is formed in line with the rules & regulations of the school . in regards to the fund raising activity, everyone is free to do so ,i like the way mario look at it , but there is more to it , but if you can or want to , go , its your right to do your will ! go ahead enjoy ! support the alma mater ,are you dominicans or siennans ? ha ha ha !

i don't understand why they should raise funds for the new sda cum sienna. bakit libre ba tuition nila? they have already made a lot of money considering they didn't pay for the present location since time immmemorial.

Even during our times we did try to raise funds for whatever reasons it maybe. It's not like we forced anyone to give, the same way this fund drive is. You get your money's worth by their effort to present a stage play they prepared.

Anonymous, it sounds like you don't like their idea of trying to raise funds for the new school to the extent of questioning their financial status as it is.
